P Babu Rao Patro.
2016 to 2020
"Utkal's Kasper" gains
extensive recognition,
acceptance and
presence across many
districts of Odisha.
1983 to 2014
The brother solely focused on
rice trading and catering to
various parts of Odisha. After
about a decade of trading, they
got into the rice distribution by
collaborating with the major
rice brands.
2014 to 2016
The stage set for
the introduction
of its own rice
brand in the
market.
1972 to 1975
Shir (Late)P.Shyam Murty Patro, a
second-generation jewellery
entrepreneur, ventured into the
wholesale business of staple food
products like rice,pulses,oil etc.In due
course of time,he also introduced his
three sons P.Raghu Ram Patro, P.
Babu Rao & P.Venkat Rao to the
business under his expert guidance.
1983
Led by a vision,the family made
a second journey to establish on
exclusive rice outlet under the
flagship of wholesale trading
company called "Utkal Traders"
in Bhubaneswar - the capital
city of Odisha
